FRIENDSHIP LODGE 846 News  Transportation Day of Action March and Rally8/14/2009The IAMAW invites you to a Transportation Day Of Action!!! You will be supporting Workers' Rights in Airline mergers and Government Investment in High-speed rail. There will be a March and Rally on August 19, 2009 @ 1200 Noon. It will begin at the Hilton New York (1335 6th Ave) to rally at Times Square (42nd St. & 7th Ave). Because of the late notice to our lodge, this year we are not leasing a bus to the event. Instead, we will be offering a small reimbursement to those who wish to go on their own time. The first 10 people who contact President Edison Fraser or Rec. Sec. Gemma Martin will be eligible for $20 for incidentals and $24 for the LGA to Midtown bus. All other costs are borne by the member themselves. Please contact the President or Rec.
